The Third Eye is directly related to the 6th chakra also known as the psychic chakra. It is located on the middle of the forehead above the brows. It is closely associated with the “pineal” gland. Herbs to open your third eye
Blue Lotus – The Blue lotus is a flower revered by many cultures worldwide as sacred and holy. The Blue lotus can aid you in activating your 3rd eye by realizing the body and mind. It will put you in a state of euphoria and joy through your ethereal awareness.
Celastrus Seed – Also known as the “Elixir of life” celastrus seed has been used in India for thousands of years to increase cognition, memory, meditation and dreaming. It helps to boost the pineal glands ability to produce DMT, dimethyltryptamine, a psychoactive compound that is associated with dreaming.
Holy Basil – Also known as Tulsi or Tulasi is literally revered as a god in India. Aside from being a potent anxiety and stress relieving herb, it is a powerful 3rd eye activator. It can enhance meditation and spiritual development.
Meditation to open your third eye
When attempting to open your third eye, Clairvoyance meditation is essential. Even if you aren’t particularly good at meditation, don’t worry! There are some surprisingly simple techniques. Here’s one you can try even if you only have ten minutes. Choose a quiet place to sit or lay, however you are most comfortable, and relax. Close our eyes and take some deep breaths.
Remember to breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Keep your eyes closed and visualize the number one. You may start to feel a tingling sensation in your forehead between your eyebrows. This is where your third eye chakra is and the feeling is totally normal.
However don’t get discouraged if you don’t feel anything, keep in mind practice makes perfect. Once you can see the number one clearly in your mind try holding it there for a few seconds then moving on to the number two. Once you can close your eyes and see the numbers 1-10 in sequence without struggling you have mastered this step. Once you are sufficient with numbers move onto colors, flowers, animals, etc. After this has become simple you can move on to more advanced meditations.
