Tips to be a More Spiritual you in the New Year
As the new year approaches, we all strive to be “better” versions of our past selves. If being more in touch with your spirituality is on your new year resolution list, we are here to help with some simple ways to incorporate more spirituality into your daily life.
Ground and center at least once a day.
Stand outside with bare feet, hold your favorite grounding crystal, place your hand on a tree and visualize its roots! It may sound small and simple, but a little daily grounding can go a long way for your overall well being.
Meditate for at least 3 minutes a day.
Any meditation practice works here! Guided meditation, body scan meditations, mindfulness meditation, transcendental meditation, static meditation (that trance zone runners get in) or any meditation you like! Find 3 minutes in every day to take a break for yourself.
Drink more water each day.
Spiritual gifts can take more out of you than you realize. A hydrated body is a happy body! Being hydrated has incredibly positive effects on mental health conditions, as well as keep your mind open to the world around you.
Focus on manifesting your goal for 5 minutes a day.
Manifest your resolutions. You control the world around you. Do your favorite spells, intention setting, prayers, Pagan practices, or the Law of Attraction works here! Devote time to mentally focusing on accomplishments.
Pick an author
You read that right. Don’t pick a book, pick an author that resonates with your spirituality. That way when you finish one book you don’t stop because you don’t know what to read next, stick with the author you’ve chosen. Once you’ve picked an author Read 13 pages of a spiritual book a day. Is there a more magical number than 13? This helps us build our visualization skills, which are great for manifesting intentions!
