Meditation to Provide Protection and Positivity
It is difficult to focus on your higher feelings and sensitivity if you feel fearful and unprotected. One way to calm yourself is with a meditation to help you connect your aura with the universal magnetic field by activating the Heart Center.
To begin close your eyes and focus at brow point. Raise your right knee up with your right foot flat on the ground toes pointing forward, then place the sole of your left foot against the ankle of the right foot resting the ball of your left foot just in front of the ankle bone of the right foot. Next make a fist with your left hand and place it on the ground beside your hip to balance your posture. Then bend your right elbow and place it on the top of your right knee, bringing your hand back along the side of your head with the palm facing your ear forming a cup with your hand to amplify sound.
Mantra: Inhale deeply and chant Maaa in a long, full, smooth sound. This mantra calls on compassion and protection. It is the sound that a baby uses to call on the mother. Here, your soul is the child, and the Universe becomes the Mother. If you call, She will come to your aid and comfort. Project the sound as if someone is listening to you. As you chant, listen to the sound and let it vibrate through your whole body. If you chant in a group, hear the overtones that develop and let those tones vibrate all around you and in every cell of your body.
After 15 to 20 minutes reverse your legs and hands and repeat your mantra with the other side of your body. Make sure to focus all your concentration into the sound and let the meditation build inside and around you.
